Local Missions
Sharon Baptist Church believes that being involved in our local community is very important.
Missions in the Knoxville area provide great opportunities to be involved in our local community! Listed below are just some of the local missions Sharon Baptist Church is involved in.
Baptist Center
We routinely partner with our two local Baptist Centers to provide food, volunteers, and other resources throughout the year.
Copper Ridge Elementary
Copper Ridge is one of our local schools and we are so excited to partner with them to meet the needs of the community. Each year we help in numerous ways, including providing school supplies, clothing, food, resources, and time to help better the school.
Christmas Baskets
Each year we partner with several local schools and provide Angel Tree Gift and food baskets to those in need in the community.
MyKnox316 & CityReach
Both of these organizations are operated by the Knox County Association of Baptist and the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board (respectively). These organizations bring in mission teams to the Knoxville area to serve in the community. Sharon has partnered with both of these organizations in different ways.
Other organizations
Various ministry’s, small groups, and Sunday School classes are involved with other local mission projects including Disaster Relief, KARM, Under the Bridge Ministry and more.
